The majesty of the Queen’s Beasts series continues with the third design in the 10 part series. The 2017 2 oz Silver Welsh Dragon is the newest in this popular series produced by the Royal Mint and offered by Provident Metals. Each 2 oz coin is composed of IRA eligible, .9999 fine silver, making it an excellent way to expand your precious metals portfolio.
The reverse of this striking coin features the Red Dragon of Wales. The red dragon has a rich British history, being closely linked to the identity of Wales. The reverse design depicts a red dragon holding the Royal Badge of Wales. The badge, utilized by the 13th century Welsh prince, LLywelyn the Great, features four lions. Bordering the reverse are the inscriptions, “RED DRAGON OF WALES” and “2 OZ FINE SILVER .9999 2017.”
The obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Jody Clark, the Royal Mint’s engraver, sculpted this rendition of England’s longest reigning monarch. The reverse also features the inscriptions: “DG REG FD,” “5 POUNDS, “ELIZABETH II.”
Silver Queen’s Beast Red Dragon coins will ship in new condition. Individual coins ship in a plastic flip, quantities of 10 in a mint tube, and quantities of 200 in a monster box.

Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
