Obverse

The obverse design of the 2018 Australian Koala 1 oz Silver Coin features the 1998 portrait that was imagined by famed sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley. Her Majesty is shown in right-profile relief. This is the fourth-generation design of Her Majesty, which means that it is the fourth image to have been featured on coinage in the commonwealth.

Reverse

The reverse design of the 2018 Australian Koala 1 oz Silver Coin features the 2018 design of the beloved marsupial. The koala is shown sitting on the branch of a eucalyptus tree. While the koala is often referred to as a koala bear, it isn’t related to bears at all. These marsupials are more closely related to the wallaby and the kangaroo.

Your 2018 Australian Koala 1 oz Silver Coin has been certified by the NGC as having a Mint State 70. Specimens with this MS70 certification have their full and original mint luster and lack any detracting flaws. There is no more perfect grade for collectible coins.
