The coin’s obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Also included are inscriptions of the year of issue and denomination, along with “ELIZABETH II” and “NIUE.”
The reverse displays two Chinese dragons chasing a flaming pearl. The dragons symbolize power, luck, and strength, while the pearl represents wisdom, spirituality, and prosperity. The coin’s weight and purity are inscribed.

Whilst encapsulating these beautiful coins in air-tite's I noticed one was gouged. Then upon closer examination with a lens found many were scuffed at the same place just at the back of the queen's head. Minting error I can only assume. Still a beautiful coin and proud to own them."

These are beautiful, they shine so much, they almost need more frosted surface area to counterpoint. The high edge of the coin rim nicely protects the intricate frosted scallops which ring the face. No complaints but the complex rim toward the edge might not be as even as you might expect, making me think if graded they might not be PR70’s. Definitely wonderful bullion coins to have in a collection. Will surely add more.
