Obverse

In the 2019 Chinese Panda 30 Gram Silver Coin release, the obverse field features a Giant Panda mother with its young cub cradled in its arms. The two gaze lovingly at one another as the mother panda shows its love. The colorization is added to the obverse side of both coins and is limited to the central field with the panda and its background.

On both coins, the two pandas are captured in their traditional black-and-white fur. The nighttime coin has deep hues of purple, blue, and black in the background field to help create the appearance of night. In the sky above, a bright-white moon shines on a cloudless night. For the daytime coin, that agrarian field in the background comes to life with green colorization as it extends toward the mountain peak on the distant horizon. The daytime sky offers a partly cloud view for the day with blue and light, fluffy white clouds.

Reverse

For the reverse, the Chinese Panda 30 Gram Silver Coins use the same design each year. The Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests is depicted on the reverse. This is the primary structure in the Temple of Heaven Complex, a Taoist religious site built in Beijing between 1406 and 1420.
