American Eagle Gold Coins were the purest gold coins issued in the United States since 1834. The 1986 debut of the American Eagle Gold Coin ended 152 years without a coin as pure as 22-karat gold content. All coins produced from 1834 to 1837 were below 22-karat content and all coins issued from 1837 to 1933, when gold coining ended altogether, had .900 gold content.

Obverse

On the obverse of 2020 American Eagle 1/4 oz Gold Coins is the image of Lady Liberty. This front-facing design depicts Liberty walking away from Washington D.C. The US Capitol Building is depicted at her feet as she walks forward with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left hand. There are 50 stars in a circle surrounding her figure.

Reverse

The reverse side of 2020 American Eagle Gold Coins comes with a family of American bald eagles. The design was created in 1986 by Miley Busiek and features a male eagle flying over the nest as a female eagle guards over a young hatchling.

History

The American Eagle Gold Coins are produced with 22-karat gold content. This means that each coin has 91.67% gold content by weight with 5.33% copper and 3% silver making up the remainder of the coins metallic content.

Ordering

Your 2020 American Eagle 1/4 oz Gold Coin is available to purchase in near-perfect condition. Coins with a Mint State 69 certification have full, original mint luster and no more than two minor detracting flaws. Examples of these flaws include minuscule contact marks or hairlines.

How Does Free Shipping Work?

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.

When will my order ship?

Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.

Can I choose the method of shipping?

All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.

Will I need to sign for my package?

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

What about International Orders?

Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
