2021 Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Gold Coins have the Royal Canadian Mints enhanced security features present in the design on both sides. The background field of both the obverse and reverse have radial lines that uniquely reflect light. The reverse includes a laser micro-engraved maple leaf privy mark. When viewed under magnification, the maple leaf reveals the inscription of 21 to denote the last two digits of the year of issue.
