Obverse
The obverse of the Morgan and Peace Dollar Silver Coins in the 2021 Morgan and Peace Dollar Silver 6-Coin Sets features effigies of Liberty. On the Morgan Dollar, Liberty is featured in left-profile relief while wearing a Phrygian cap, coronet crown, and a laurel wreath. The Peace Dollar, meanwhile, shows Liberty in left-profile relief with a spiked crown and hair flowing freely in the breeze.
Reverse
On the reverse of the coins in the 2021 Morgan and Peace Dollar Silver 6-Coin Sets, you will find two depictions of the American bald eagle. The Morgan Dollars feature George T. Morgans version of the heraldic eagle. The Peace Dollars come with an image of a bald eagle resting on its perch on an olive branch.
History
The 2021 release of Morgan and Peace Dollars included five versions of the Morgan and one version of the Peace. The Morgan Dollars come with mint marks or privy marks. The Philadelphia Mint issued three coins in total, one with no mint mark, one with a CC privy for the Carson City Mint, and one with an O privy for the New Orleans Mint. The San Francisco Mint and Denver Mint each issued a Morgan Dollar with respective S and D mint marks. The Peace Dollar was issued by the Philadelphia Mint.
