The American Silver Eagle Coin series is back again in 2021 with another spectacular release. This 2021 release offers two coin variationsType 1 and Type 2which both have their own unique design on the reverse. The Type 1 coin for this listing has been issued as the final date mark for Mercantis heraldic eagle design. Currently, the 2021-W Reverse Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin PR70/PF70 Varied Label PCGS or NGC Type 1 is available for purchase from Provident Metals.
The 2021-W Reverse Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin holds a reverse proof quality, with the background of the coin appearing frosted while the design itself is mirrored. This is the opposite appearance from the design of a traditional proof coin. This 2021 coin is considered a legal tender of the United States and was struck in 99.9% pure silver. The PR70/PF70 gradings from either the NGC or the PCGS mean that the coin has no detracting flaws. Instead, it is considered a perfect specimen that retains its original mint luster.
If purchasing multiple coins from this listing, keep in mind that all coins are selected at random based on what is available. You may receive coins that feature the same grading company or the same label.
The American Silver Eagle Coin collection is the official silver bullion program for the United States Mint. The series initially released in 1986 and has featured patriotic imagery for investors and collectors everywhere to enjoy for themselves.
The obverse of the 2021-W Reverse Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin shows the image of Lady Liberty walking forward. This design was created by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916 and shows Lady Liberty striding majestically toward the sun. The inscription of LIBERTY is shown above Lady Liberty at the top of the obverse.
On the reverse of the 2021-W Reverse Proof American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coin is the original heraldic eagle image designed by John Mercanti. This design was the original image featured on these silver coins when the American Silver Eagle coin collection first debuted in 1986.
