With an unlimited mintage, these coins will be struck through 2022 until the 2023 coin is available for issue.
Obverse
The obverse side of 2022 Australian Kangaroo Silver Coins comes with an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief at the age of 89 wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown. The design element includes inscriptions of ELIZABETH II, AUSTRALIA, and 1 DOLLAR.
Reverse
On the reverse face of the 2022 Australian Kangaroo 1 oz Silver Coin is a depiction of the largest marsupial in the world. The kangaroo is shown here in left-profile relief as it hops along with the sun in the background. This design was originally created by Stuart Devlin and used on the Australian Copper Penny. The inscriptions on this face include AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO, 2022, 1 OZ, 9999, and SILVER.
History
Australian Kangaroo coins followed the 1990 release of the Australian Kookaburra, the 2007 release of the Australian Koala, and the 2015 release of the Australian Wedge Tail Eagle. While all of these coins have new reverse designs each year, the Australian Kangaroo does not.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
