In the reverse design of the 2022 Chinese Panda 3 Gram Gold Coin, the Chinese Mint features a new design for 2022. This image shows two pandas sliding down a snowy hill. While one panda is on its stomach and going head-first, the other is on its back and going feet first. The inscriptions around the edge read 3 G AU .999 and the 50 face value.
History
For the 40th anniversary of the series, the Chinese Mint struck a special privy mark on all five gold coins and the silver coin in this series. On the reverse of these coins and all other gold coins in the series, you will find the digits 40 with a panda in the 0 for the anniversary privy.
