These 2022 Native America the Beautiful Wyoming 1 oz Silver Coins are delivered inside beautiful display boxes that include a Certificate of Authenticity from the Native American Mint. Each coin has been carefully struck in .999 pure silver and has undergone a colorization process on the obverse field. This is the second release in a series that will contain fifty coins in total.

Obverse

A Shoshone tribal figure is depicted on the obverse face of the 2022 Colorized Native America the Beautiful Wyoming 1 oz Silver Coin. They are on horseback hunting three bison, who are rendered in exquisite color. Additional design elements include wild green grass and the geyser known as Old Faithful in the background. Obverse inscriptions read MI TSI A-DA-ZI, which is another name for the Yellowstone River, SHOSHONE, WYOMING, and 2022.

Reverse

A Native American eagle design is found on the reverse of 2022 Colorized Native America the Beautiful Wyoming 1 oz Silver Coins. This includes a tribal pattern and an eagle facing the left side. History

The second issue in the Native America the Beautiful series pays tribute to the Shoshone tribe, who utilized Yellowstone long before it became a National Park. The release also serves to raise awareness of the fact that during the 1870s and 1880s, the tribe was excluded from the region that had once been a crucial resource for their survival and well-being. While a treaty in 1868 assured them they could continue using Yellowstone for hunting purposes, the treaty was never ratified by the United States. This coin is a somber reminder of their rich past and tragic fate.
