A lion is depicted on the reverse field of the 2022 Czech Lion 1/4 oz Gold Coin. This magnificent design is a close-up of the lion, who looks straight ahead and wears the Crown of Saint Wenceslas. The linden tree is the national tree of the Czech Republic, and its leaves are shown on the coins edge design. Inscriptions include CESKA REPUBLIKA 1/4 OZ AU 999.9.
History
The Czech Lion coin series first began in 2017 and is now seen by many as the definitive coin of the Czech Republic. Investors are greeted with many options when purchasing a Czech Lion coin. Silver coins are produced in 1 oz, 2 oz, 5 oz, and 10 oz weights. If you prefer gold, they are available in 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/10, and 1/25 oz versions. While the coins feature new designs each year, they will always contain the image of a lion, which is recognized as a national symbol of the Czech Republic.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
