Reverse
The reverse face of the 2022 Niue Mandalorian Grogu Gold Coins features a depiction of The Child. Grogus name is not immediately known when you watch The Mandalorian. Imperial forces trying to locate him refer to him simply as The Asset, while Djin Djarin and others refer to him as The Child or The Kid. History
The Mandalorian is classified as an American space Western in its styling, but it is right from the Star Wars franchise and fits well within the sci-fi franchise. It is the first live-action series in the Star Wars universe and provides an opportunity for viewers to plug the gaps in the storylines between the major feature films. The Mandalorian is set in the galaxy some five years after The Return of the Jedi, a period in which the Galactic Empire has fallen and its remnant forces are trying to cobble together a new ruling force.
