Obverse

History
The modern Noble coin series merges the long history of the British monarchy with the seafaring prowess of the Vikings, and their impact on the British Isles. Historically, the English Noble featured the reigning monarch in a ship on one side of the coin and a royal seal on the other. The modern noble features the reigning monarch on the obverse with a Viking long ship on the reverse.
