History
Though born of an Atlantean queen, Arthur Curry was raised by his human father Tom, a lighthouse keeper in Maine. After displaying qualities indicating his superhuman status, Arthur would eventually make his way to the sea and take his rightful place as king of Atlantis. Aquaman also has a half-brother named Orm Marius, who held his position on the throne before being usurped by its rightful heir. Orm, also known as the Ocean Master, then becomes one of the major antagonists in the series.
