The American Eagle Gold Series is a product of the United States Mint and has been available annually, in some versions, since 1986. The longest-running option in the series and the most prolific is the BU American Eagle. All four weights in this version have been available each year since 1986. When you purchase one of these 2023 American Eagle 1/4 oz Gold Coins online at Provident Metals, you will receive a coin in near-perfect condition from the NGC. Coins with a Mint State 69 certification have full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. These are limited in type to minuscule hairlines or contact marks, and limited in scope to the areas outside the primary focal points of the design. These Early Release specimens were received for certification within the first 30 days of from the US Mint.
Obverse
The obverse side of the 2023 American Eagle Gold Coin comes with a front-facing relief of Lady Liberty. This design shows Liberty with a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. Inscriptions include LIBERTY and 2023.
Reverse
On the reverse field of 2023 Eagle 1/4 oz Gold Coins, you will find a depiction of the American bald eagle. This design from Jennie Norris was created in 2020 and debuted in mid-2021. It includes inscriptions of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 10 DOLLARS 1/4 OZ. FINE GOLD.
History
American Eagle Gold Coins are available in BU, Proof, and Burnished versions each year. While the BU and Proof coins offer four weights, the Burnished coins only come in 1 oz gold.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
Provident is only able to ship to addresses in any of the 50 US states. This includes P.O. boxes and APO addresses.
