The coins in this weight within the series come in either individual flips or acrylic tubes of 25 gold coins. Security elements on these coins include motion texture in the background, a latent security element, tincture lines on the shield, and micro-text engraving.
Obverse
The obverse of 2023 British Britannia Gold Coins comes with the final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief in a 2015 design from Jody Clark. The Queen is captured at the age of 89 in this design and is accompanied by inscriptions of 25 POUNDS, ELIZABETH II, and D.G. REG. F.D.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the 2023 Britannia 1/4 oz Gold Coin, you will find the portrait of Britannia. The female allegory representing Britain, Britannias effigy as shown here was created in 1987 by Philip Nathan. The inscriptions on this side of the coin read 2023, 1/4 OZ, 999.9 FINE GOLD, and BRITANNIA.
History
British Britannia Gold Coins issued at the start of the 2023 cycle will be the last with Queen Elizabeth IIs effigy. Her Majestys passing in September 2022 means Prince Charles now reigns as King Charles III and new coins with his effigy will debut in the months to come.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
