Obverse
On the obverse side of 2023 British Britannia Gold Coins, you will find the all-new effigy of King Charles III. His Majesty is shown here in left-profile relief without a crown on his head. The portrait was created by Martin Jennings and includes inscriptions of 100 POUNDS, CHARLES III, and D.G. REX. F.D.
Reverse
The reverse field of the 2023 Britannia 1 oz Gold Coin comes with a depiction of Britannia. Her visual is shown standing in front-facing relief as she looks right toward the trident in her right hand as her left hand rests on a Union Jack shield. Inscriptions on this side include BRITANNIA, 2023, 1 OZ, and 999.9 FINE GOLD.
