The 2023 release of British Silver Britannias began with an initial design featuring Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse for a final time. After a few months, a fresh batch of 2023 Silver Britannias was introduced, now featuring the first-ever effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.
