History
At about nine feet long, the Indo-Chinese tiger fits right in the middle of the Panthera tigris Tigris subspecies. While larger than the Sumatran and Malayan tigers, it is smaller than the Siberian and Bengal tigers. With its population dwindling, Cambodia spearheaded conservation efforts in 2017 to return to the days of the late 1990s, when the country boasted one of the worlds largest tiger populations.
