History

Broad-chested with muscular arms and limbs, the mountain gorilla is considered the worlds second-largest primate (behind only the legendary Grauers gorilla). As for their lifestyle, the mountain gorilla survives largely on an herbivorous diet that includes stems, shoots, leaves, and the occasional larvae. They also might chew on rotting wood, as it provides a good source of sodium.
