Highlights:
Back in 1921, the Peace Silver Dollar made its debut and only the Philadelphia Mint was in charge of making these coins. But when the second year rolled around in 1922, both the San Francisco Mint and the Denver Mint joined the production party.
Obverse
The obverse of the 2023-S Proof Peace Dollar shows off a beautiful image of Lady Liberty created by Anthony di Francisci. Liberty faces to the left, her hair flowing and crowned with a glowing halo.
Reverse
Turn the coin around, and you’ll find the reverse side featuring an American bald eagle. Perched on a cliff, the eagle holds an olive branch a symbol of peace in its talons. Unlike eagles seen during times of war, this one skips the shield and arrows, showing the nation’s desire for harmony.
History
When the San Francisco Mint and the Denver Mint joined in the production of Peace Dollars in 1922, the volume of coin production went up. The 1922 date mark remains the highest-minted in the series with more than 84.2 million coins issued.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
