History
According to legend, the Jade Emperor held a Great Race for all the animals in the kingdom. The top 12 in the contest would be featured in his kingdom while also gracing a new calendar to help guide his people. The dragon was a clear favorite to win the race, but as it flew through the skies, it noticed a small village on fire. A noble creature, the dragon procured water from the river to quell the flames before proceeding. As such, it ended up in 5th place overall in the race.
