Mint State 69 coins maintain their full, original mint luster and may have a maximum of two minor detractions. These detractions are generally limited to minor contact marks or hairlines, primarily outside the primary focal points. First Strike coins are those graded by PCGS within 30 days of their mint release.
Obverse
On the obverse of the 2024 American Eagle Gold Coin is a timeless portrayal of Lady Liberty. This design, dating back to 1907, features Liberty walking toward the viewer, holding a torch and an olive branch, with sun rays at her back and a ring of stars encircling the field. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, 2024, and the ASG signature mark of Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2024 Eagle 1/2 oz Gold Coins showcases the image of the American bald eagle. This refreshed design, created in 2020 by Jennie Norris, made its debut on Gold Eagles in mid-2021, displaying the head of the eagle in a left-profile relief. The inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, IN GOD WE TRUST, 25 DOLLARS, and 1/2 OZ FINE GOLD.
History
Gold Eagles are available in 1 oz gold and three fractional-ounce options. This has been true for BU Gold Eagles since 1986. However, all four weights were not offered for Proof Gold Eagles until 1988. The Burnished Gold Eagle initially included all four weights in 2006, but after a brief hiatus from 2009-2010, it returned in 2011 with only 1 oz gold coins.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
