Obverse
The obverse of the 2024 American Eagle Gold Coins showcases Saint-Gaudens’ iconic image of Liberty. This design, created in 1907 by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, was revolutionary in its time and graced the $20 Double Eagle until 1933. It presents Liberty in full-length, holding a torch in one hand and an olive branch in the other. The field is adorned with sun rays, a ring of stars along the edge, and the U.S. Capitol Building in the background. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, 2024, and the ASG signature mark.
Reverse
The reverse side of the 2024 Eagle 1/2 oz Gold Coins features a new portrayal of the American bald eagle. This natural depiction, created by Jennie Norris and introduced in mid-2021, showcases the bald eagle in left-profile relief. Inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, IN GOD WE TRUST, 25 DOLLARS, and 1/2 OZ. FINE GOLD.
History
Augustus Saint-Gaudens was tapped directly by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1905 to help redesign American coinage. His Lady Liberty effigy featured on the modern American Eagle was created for the $20 Double Eagle.

For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
