Obverse
The front of the 2024 Austrian Philharmonic Gold Coin features a striking depiction of the Great Pipe Organ. This organ resides in the historic Musikverein, where the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra performs. The Musikverein was built in 1870, and the Great Pipe Organ was installed during the 1910s. Inscriptions include REPUBLIK OSTERREICH, 1/10 UNZE GOLD 999.9, 2024, and 10 EURO.
Reverse
Turning to the reverse side of the 2024 Philharmonic 1/10 oz Gold Coins, you’ll find an enchanting image of musical instruments. These instruments are commonly used by members of the Vienna Philharmonic. The centerpiece is a cello, flanked by two violins on each side. Additional instruments such as a bassoon, harp, and French horn add to the visual appeal. The inscription reads WIENER PHILHARMONIKER.
