The front side of the 2024 Austrian Philharmonic Gold Coin proudly displays the timeless image of the Great Pipe Organ. Designed by Austrian Mint’s Chief Engraver, Thomas Pesendorfer, this design provides a glimpse of the magnificent pipe organ situated within the Golden Concert Hall at the Musikverein.
Reverse
Turning to the back side of the 2024 Philharmonic 1 oz Gold Coins, you’ll find a charming depiction of harmonious musical instruments. The design showcases a foreground cello gracefully accompanied by two violins, complemented by a harmonious ensemble of a bassoon, harp, and French horn in the background.
History
In 1989, the series commenced with the introduction of 1 oz and 1/4 oz gold coins. The series expanded in 1991 with a 1/10 oz gold coin, and in 1994, a 1/2 oz gold coin was added. The series continued to grow, introducing the 1 oz silver coin in 2008, the 1/25 oz gold coin in 2014, and platinum coins starting from 2016.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
