Obverse

In the obverse design of Silver Elf PEZ Wafers is a depiction of the candy name. The brand name PEZ is shortened from the German word for peppermint, pfefferminz. The candies were so-named because the only flavor originally available in 1927 was peppermint. The PEZ brand logo features those three letters formed by stacks of candy wafers.

Reverse

For the reverse field of the 30 Gram Silver Elf PEZ Wafers, there are three separate designs. arranged in landscape orientation across the wafers, each one has the PAMP Suisse logo on the left and the face of an elf on the right. The center has the hallmarks of each individual silver wafer, inscribed as 5 G SILVER 999.9.
