History

The image of the American bald eagle that now graces the reverse of American Eagle 1 oz Silver Coins was created by Emily Damstra. A member of the Artistic Infusion Program at the United States Mint, Ms. Damstra is a veteran of the America the Beautiful Series at the US Mint, as well as the Canadian Wildlife Series and the Birds of Prety Series from the Royal Canadian Mint.
