Obverse
The obverse side of every American Eagle Gold Coin showcases the timeless representation of Lady Liberty. Originally crafted by Augustus Saint-Gaudens in 1907, this captivating design portrays Liberty in full length, facing forward, holding a torch and an olive branch, while rays of sunlight fill the background. Inscriptions read LIBERTY and a date mark.
Reverse
On the reverse side of Eagle 1 oz Gold Coins, you will find one of two striking designs. Coins minted between 1986 and early 2021 exhibit a family of bald eagles, portrayed within and around a nest. However, from mid-2021 onwards, the design was revised to showcase the head of an American bald eagle in right-profile relief. History
Historically, the American Eagle 1 oz Gold Coin is the best-selling coin in the series. While the top five highest mintages in the programs history includes four different dates for 1 oz gold coins, the 1/10 oz gold coin actually holds the top spot with its 1999 mintage record.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies.
