Fractional weight gold coins arent always easy to come by, and often, the smallest weight you can find is 1/10 oz. The Austrian Mint changed the game with their 1/25 oz version of their gold bullion coin. Right now, you can purchase the Austrian Philharmonic 1/25 oz Gold Coin in random years from Provident Metals.
Highlights:
Philharmonic Gold Coins were debuted in 1989 by the Austrian Mint. During the original debut, there were only two gold weights released: 1 oz and 1/4 oz. New additions were created at three different points in time. The first new release was the 1/10 oz gold coin, and it was added to the series in 1991. In 1994, the 1/2 oz gold coin was released. The 1/25 oz gold coins were added to the series in 2014.
