Renowned worldwide, Canadian Gold Maple Leafs rank among the best-selling gold bullion coins and hold the distinction of being the market’s second oldest series. Surpassed only by the Krugerrand from the South African Mint, this series experienced a crucial turning point in 1982 with the introduction of 24-karat gold purity. Today, you have the opportunity to get Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Gold Coin Tubes online from Provident Metals.

  • Arrives with an acrylic tube of 10 gold coins!
  • Offers random dates!
  • Available dates range from 1982 to present!
  • Contains 1 Troy oz of .9999 pure gold per coin.
  • The individual face values of $50 (CAD) are backed by Canada.
  • On the obverse are portraits of Queen Elizabeth II.
  • The reverse side includes a sugar maple design.
  • Please keep mind you could get coins with matching or varied dates and designs.

Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coins debuted in 1979 with only 1 oz gold coins available. Expansion of the series took place over the course of 30 years, with 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz gold coins added in 1982, 1/2 oz gold coins in 1986, 1/20 oz gold coins in 1993, and 1 Gram gold coins in 2014.

In this tube, all Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coins bear the obverse portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. These coins exhibit three different effigies of the Queen. The first design, created by Arnold Machin, was used on coins until 1989. From 1990 to 2004, the second design, by Dora de Pedery-Hunt, was utilized. Since 2005, the third design, by Susanna Blunt, has been the chosen portrait.

Inside this tube, Maple Leaf 1 oz Gold Coins feature the reverse image of a sugar maple leaf. Designed by Walter Ott in 1979 for the Gold Maple, this representation of a natural sugar maple leaf has been faithfully reproduced on the silver, platinum, and palladium iterations of the coin.

The initial release of the Maple Leaf coins not only featured only 1 oz gold coins, but also a lower metal fineness. While all coins in this listing have 24-karat gold, the series initially offered .999 pure gold from 1979 to November 1982.

Inside the 1 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Tube, you will find a collection of 10 coins, each crafted with .9999 pure gold and adorned with random date marks. The range of dates in this tube extends from 1982 to the present. Kindly be aware that we cannot assure a specific date or design for the coins contained in the tube.
