Buying the Elemental 1 oz Titanium Round is an opportunity to further diversify your investment portfolio. Unique in titanium bullion, this 1 oz round is an exciting addition to Provident Metals’ Titanium offerings. Each titanium round is composed of 1 AVDP ounce of .999 pure titanium.
The obverse of the Elemental Titanium Round features atomic characteristics of titanium, including an inscription of titanium’s atomic number “22”, standard atomic weight “47.87”, melting point “1660C”, and atomic symbol “Ti”. “TITANIUM” is also inscribed on the obverse of this round.
A shield reading “E PLURIBUS UNUM” is featured at the center of the reverse. “TITANIUM .999 FINE” and “ONE AVDP OUNCE” are inscribed near the rim.
Titanium is a silver transition metal that is durable to abrasion and resistant to corrosion. Alloys of titanium are common in the manufacture of spacecrafts, jet engines, military equipment, medical devices, automobile, and other industrial mechanisms. While its durability is unquestioned when combined with other metals, unalloyed titanium is equally as strong, matching the strength of many types of steel.
Reverend William Gregor discovered titanium in 1791, and by 1910, Matthew Hunter was able to produce the first pure metallic form of the element using the Hunter process, which was the first industrial procedure that could produce uncontaminated metallic titanium. Titanium is currently the seventh-most abundant metal on earth, and the ninth-most abundant element in the Earth’s crust.
Affordable, lightweight and strong, titanium makes a great diversification asset in any portfolio. Like Gold, Silver, and Copper, titanium spot prices have varied throughout the years, and there is no better time to acquire this industrial commodity for your collection than today.

"
It was shinier than I thought it would be and just as beautiful as the portrayed it. It's width is just a little smaller than a american eagle copper round and it's twice thick! If you want something interesting to add to your stack then this is it! While I wouldn't recommend these in bulk as an investment, buying one or two won't break the bank."

"
The rounds look pretty much like the pictures, I think they may have a little more shine to them. But what will catch your attention is the thickness. One round is the same thickness as a stack of 3 American nickels. I like them."
