The reverse of this Australian legal tender coin features a WWII naval ship with its guns raised. It sails before a background of the the Southern Cross constellation and a representation of both the Australia and United States flags. Inscriptions read “BATTLE OF THE CORAL SEA” and “WAR IN THE PACIFIC 1941 – 1945.”
