The obverse of Labors of Hercules Silver Rounds contains a close-up depiction of Hercules. In his hand is a club, while atop his head is the slain Nemean lion fashioned as a headdress. Defeating this lion represents Hercules in the first of the 12 tasks. Youll also find a meander pattern and inscriptions of the rounds hallmarks on the obverse field.

On the reverse side of the Labors of Hercules Round, there will be a varied design. There are a total of 12 different designs you could receive, each representing one of the different tasks Hercules was assigned. While these do not indicate what design you will receive, some of the more popular tasks include slaying the Nemean lion, defeating the Hydra, capturing the Cretan bull, and seizing the Hound of Hades. The reverse will also contain a roman numeral and an inscription of the labor.

Born to Zeus and Alcmene, Hercules was a demi-god of Greek mythology and one of the most popular heroes in history. Traditionally known as Heracles, his name was modified to Hercules by Rome and the West in general. Hercules remains one of the most well-known Greek heroes in the modern age, thanks in part to his numerous depictions in pop culture. This includes the 1997 animated Disney film as well as the 2014 live-action epic starring Dwayne Johnson.
