The obverse features a right-facing portrait of President Abraham Lincoln. Inscriptions include “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “LIBERTY,” and “1909.”
The reverse features inscriptions of the mint’s name, along with the round’s weight and purity. On either side, there are two wheat plants framing the wording.
Single Lincoln Wheat Cent copper rounds ship in plastic flips. Multiples of 20 ship in a plastic tube and multiples of 500 ship in a monster box.

As a kid growing up, I can still remember getting an occasional "Wheatie" in return change, In 1909 The Lincoln Wheat cent replaced the Indian Head penny. So taken for granted, yet fun collecting and hoping that one may be on the endangered list & provide that additional bonus for retirement. These large replica's are really appealing to both old and younger crowds and make a great gift too!"

I ordered one each of all the copper rounds that reproduce historic U.S. currency, because I love the coins and the look of copper as a metal. This Lincoln cent round is faithful to the original Lincoln wheat-ear penny, really nicely designed. There’s at least one other mint that makes 1 oz. copper Lincoln penny tributes, and they don’t do nearly as faithful an interpretation as Golden State Mint does with this one.

Glad I finally added some of these to my ever growing collection. I don’t collect copper rounds for their value, I collect them because I think they are beautiful. Copper is a beautiful metal.

i bought 3 of these, i love that they look like wheat pennies. purchased them on the 6th and it took 6 days until they shipped, got them 2 days later (valentines day) the wait wasnt too bad. although i was disappointed to find that all 3 have scratches and nicks all over the obverse. the reverse side has a few tiny scratches. i wouldve preffered that they look ment condition but i guess this fine since they are so affordable anyway.

Not exactly a proof-looking round, but near it. The portrait of Lincoln is done very well; this is an attractive round anyone can immediately itentify with. It is medallion-strike, not coin-strike (i.e., if you flip it over, the back is upside-down). I would prefer that the round explicitly stated on it that it is avdp. weight, not troy weight. These make a great conversation-starter for PM neophytes.

Just about everyone in my family collect some sort of coin or currency. These will make awesome gifts. Now if there was a 1909 Indian head penny as well, than I could have an awesome set.
