She wears a coronet with LIBERTY inscribed on it and also a laurel wreath. There are 13 stars in the design field with additional inscriptions of E PLURIBUS UNUM and a date mark.

Reverse

History

Morgan Dollar Silver Coins were struck in the 1878-1904 period by four different mints. The Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints struck the coins each year, while the New Orleans Mint issued the coins every year with the exception of 1878. The Carson City Mint struck the coins from 1878 to 1885 and again from 1889 to 1893.
