Reverse

This vision of the bald eagle was created by Jennie Norris, a member of the US Mint Artistic Infusion Program. History

This is the first time the American Eagle Gold Coin has been refreshed. The only previous revision to the coins in this series came in 1992 when the US Mint transitioned from the use of Roman numerals for the date mark to Arabic numerals.
