The obverse depicts a ship making its way across a raging sea and trying to avoid the Leviathan sea monster. A brave sailor in a rowboat filled with his treasure chest tries to escape a similar fate. The year of issue is inscribed on this side as well.
The common reverse of the Silverbug Island series features a pirate ship overflowing with treasure in front of an island made entirely of coins. “Welcome to Silverbug Island” is inscribed, along with the weight and purity.
Produced by the North American Mint, the Silverbug Island series of antiqued silver rounds was inspired by the Silverbugs Reddit community. It’s a place for people to gather and discuss their passion for tangible assets and precious metal bullion.
The Leviathan design is the fifth design in the Silverbug Island series, which will include eight designs when complete. Each design involves the perils faced by pirates on their quest for treasure.

In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
