The obverse of each Star 3 oz Silver Round features a five-pointed star, reminiscent of a Texas Rangers law enforcement badge. Naturally pitted and grooved, this hand poured silver round has an antique appearance that investors and collectors will appreciate.
The reverse of this three ounce poured silver round has an irregular rim and wavy surface, and carries the hallmark of MK Barz. The MK Barz hallmark features the inscriptions “.999 FINE SILVER,” “TROY OUNCE,” “MK BARZ,” and the exact weight of each bar.
Each Star 3 oz Silver Round is unique. Each round will vary in exact shape, design, and weight. Poured silver pieces are made by pouring molten silver into custom rounds, and allowing the silver to cool exposed to the air. As the silver is melted and poured, some silver will vaporize, making the weight of these rounds vary slightly, though no silver round will weigh less than 2.95 troy ounces. Also, silver will cool unevenly across the surface of the round, which introduces minor variations in exact shape and design.
