Sunshine Minting is one of Americas largest and most successful private mints. Located in Idaho, the mint is well known for both producing its own branded silver bullion products and for providing high-quality silver blanks to the likes of the US Mint for the production of official silver bullion coins such as the American Eagle. Obverse
Obverse design elements of the 1 oz Silver Round listed here include the Sunshine Minting logo. The mint uses the iconic American bald eagle as its official symbol. In the mints logo, the bald eagle is set against a backdrop of a brilliant sun with artistic rays of light emanating from its source at the center of the design. The words Sunshine Minting are inscribed on this field of the round with Sunshine above the design element and Minting below.
Reverse
For the reverse field, Sunshine Minting features its brilliant sun emblem at the center of 1 oz Silver Rounds. The center of the sun design has the Mint Mark SI inscription twice. It is within this central field that you will be able to use a special Sunshine Minting decoder (decoder not included with purchase) to verify the authenticity of these silver rounds. Inscriptions around the edge of the design field include One Troy Ounce and .999 Fine Silver.
History
Sunshine Minting Inc. is located in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. The primary focus of its production capacity is set on Brilliant Uncirculated blanks for the US Mint and other international mints to use in the production of major bullion coin collections, as well as supplying blanks for proof and proof-like production. Sunshine Minting also has a large custom-minting operation that produces special requests for authorized dealers. In addition, it produces silver bars and rounds of its own design for investors and collectors.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. Once payments are processed, products are released to fulfillment for packaging and shipping.
All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.

These went on sale recently along with the price of spot dropping a bit, so I got a tube of these 1 oz. Sunshine Mint rounds along with a few other "on sale" items. I just love them, simple yet elegant design. All the rounds came in perfect condition in the plastic tube and was double wrapped in tape. Very secure in the shipping box! Thanks Provident and keep up the great work!"

Sunshine product is also very good quality and I’d like to see a larger selection of their newer rounds. The copies have the Sunshine quality, and price. I feel the mint mark gives added liquidity in more venues and would like to see similar security measures on some of the beautiful Provident product as well!

Sunshine mint is a well known mint, even for new buyers. Rounds looked great and no scratches.
**Advice for placing orders, for this order i chose a personal check and the order took 18 day to hit my door step. On the other side, I placed another order with a money order and took 10 days. The cash options takes some time but personal checks are too long. Grab a money order if you want the cash price.**
I purchased 10 of these, and everyone was perfect. Will buy again.

I purchased just one of these rounds as an impulse buy with my last order. I was very happy with the price as these coins carry one of the lowest silver premiums out there.
The round that I received has a number of light scratches, dings and scrapes. It did not look super bad, and it’s fine for the bullion purposes I wanted it for . . . but I expected a little better for a “mint fresh” round.
