Manufactured in the United States, the U.S. Marine Corps Silver Round contains 1 troy oz. of .999 fine silver. Established in 1775, the Marine Corps plays an incredibly vital role in matters of national security by acting as a task force capable of forcible entry by land, air, and sea. Although the Marine Corps is an independent branch of the military, it often works closely with the U.S. Navy. The 1 oz. Marine Corps Silver Round will ship in New Condition sealed in plastic or in a plastic flip.
The obverse side of the round prominently features the seal of the Marine Corps, along with the phrase “United States Marine Corps.” The Marine Corps seal features a bald eagle perched on the Western Hemisphere of a globe. In its mouth the eagle holds a banner which displays the motto of the Marine Corps, “Semper Fidelis,” which is Latin for “Always Faithful.” In addition, a fouled anchor surrounds the globe and a rope-like design encircles the outer rim of the coin.
The reverse side displays the phrase “One Troy Ounce .999 Fine Silver” along with decorative engraving that rims the remaining portion of the coin. The middle of the round is left blank for specific and personalized engraving and inscription purposes.
